Silver necessaire. Front is engraved with vertical lines with a scrolling border. Center is engraved with "FME". Hat, women's; dark green velvet on a wire rim; hat is circular with no center; stretched across top is green net; at front is a green feather plume with six curved feathers; hat pin with brown head is pinned through velvet It belonged to Nancy Duke Murphy. She went to Austin Peay University in the early 1930s and purchased the hat circa 1940- 1960 from Pearson’s Store in Clarksville.
