Description |
A bullet mold for a round bullet; all metal Individual Soldiers during the Civil War carried bullet molds on their person in order to make bullets for themselves. Soldiers often cast bullets while in their camps when they ran out of ammunition. Bullet mold equipment remained similar in aesthetic for thirty years. However, some manufacturers gave bullet molds wooden handles in the 1890s for comfort purposes. |
