A long sleeved robe of blue Chinese silk with gold trim. Silk is patterned with red flowers. Front closes with a motif of 3 frogs. Finley Elder (1902-1991) wife of Donald B. Gracey; wore this costume during the Texas Cotton Palace Exposition in Texas in 1924. She was chosen to represent Tennessee by Governor Austin Peay in the Queen's court featuring a Chinese theme. |
